Here are some pictures of John’s childhood–sorry they were all on one page–the one without John Brooks is my Grandparents, some are just Mary Grace, one of Mary Grace and Tom, one of John Brooks with Tom’s nephew Jimmy and yes, that is John dressed for Halloween.

Looks like John was given a great childhood.
There are 2 years that John wear female character outfits for Halloween. I wonder what’s up with that.

Reta, thanks for sharing your story. It certainly helps to fill in many blanks that were left gaping from the podcast. You were thrown into an unbelievably difficult situation. I’m so glad to hear that Mrs. Mary Grace is doing well. Finally, RIP JB.

Thank You for sharing, this part of your life and family. That was a beautiful home place. John was not a lazy man. He got lost somewhere down the line. The people took advantage of of Him and Mary Grace. It would be nice if the owners would preserve what is there, or sell it to someone you would. Like I said Thanks and Remember I got your back in your next adventure, but we ain’t cutting Nipples this time. LOL

I am so glad to see you have written down your thoughts and got your side of the story out for all to hear. I just finished “binge-reading” your blog after listening to the podcast last wk! WOW, what a story! You did a great job of sharing your side, and I must say that you certainly appear more level-headed than Tyler, so I am inclined to believe your version!
